What You'll Need:
Date - When the work was done
Project - Brief description of the work
Hours - Time spent (round to quarter hours)
Skill/Hr - Use our two-letter codes (BK, EL, etc.)
Work/Hrs - Type of exchange (T=Time Bank Hours, V=Volunteer, etc.)
Credit - Amount towards your chosen form of exchange
Balance - Your TimeBank running balance
Witness - If this was a transation, the person that you transacted with.
Record immediately after completing work to keep a running total of skill-hrs earned
Be specific in project descriptions
Use consistent skill codes from this site
Track both work done for others AND received using the TimeBank ledger
Calculate balance at end of each entry
Review weekly to spot patterns and opportunities
Share your ledger at community meetings and encourage participation in your cooperative community.
Cross-reference entries with work partners to integrate your Timebank into your daily life.
